2033 - A Whole new World

In two more decades the world will be much more different than it is right now. In my opinion the world will change a lot in the two upcoming decades.

Transportation will be much more efficient because people will use more airplanes and ships, highways will go over the buildings and under the ground and cars will not damage the enviroment.

Education will change a lot, schools will not exist and everybody will tune in to a "video conference" class, there will be no need to buy books or notebooks, every thing will be stored in the programs "cloud" and in your computer hard-drive, and if you miss a class it will be recorded and saved on your hard-drive. Sports on the other hand sports will be particed in your house or in a public state gym.

Cancer and other terrible diseases will be cured but mankind will suffer of overpopulation, alien invasions, and global warming.

¡Money!

16th October, 2013

Something amazing happened to me today, I was hopping down the bus and I saw a blue paper being blown away by the wind and it landed right in front of me. I looked at it and i realized it was a 10.000 pesos bill! I couldent believe it, it was the first time in my life I found money, but it had to happen... The wind blew away the bill from my hand and it flew to the other side of the street, I impulsively crossed the street running and I almost got run over, when I got to the other side, the bill was trapped in a door, I took it and I slipped it in my pocket and in the way back home I was thinking what to do with it and I decided to donate it to charity.

Allsop School

Allsop Academy, with help of "traditional" headteacher, has become one of the best schools in the UK. Michael Wilson, the headteacher is known for his traditional ways of teaching and learning. The students must stand in lines before entering the classroom, they must wear grey and red jackets, ties and pullovers, they are sent home if thy wear the wrong shoes or if the'r hair is too long or too short, and the cant use their mobile phones in class and have to stay after school if they don't do their homework. The school was very  bad before the arrival of Michael Wilson who changed the old buildings and made the kids behave.I personally don't like this school because it is too strict and no one would have fun in it.

Epic Surprise Party
Once a friend told me that he never celebrated his birthday, that he only had a cake and cookies with his family and that’s all. I and all the class felt sorry for him, so we decided to organize a surprise birthday party for him.
We prepared it for a week, we hired a DJ and we bought lots and lots of junk food, finally the special day arrived, we all got in his house at 7:00 PM we did the last arrangements and we looked for a place to hide, finally he arrived, we all jumped into the air and the music started playing, he got so happy and excited he cried.

Trip to Florianopolis, Brazil

When I arrived to Brazil I immediately felt the tropical climate, and I knew that some amazing vacations where about to start. We arrived to resort in a big white van; a very nice receptionist showed us our rooms, we dresses up with swimming suits and sandals and we ran to the pool and then to the beach.

The attention was very good and the food was great, near the pools and the beach there was a room where they had ice cream hamburgers and French fires, I met a Chilean boy of my age, his name was Humberto Piña Valle; we went to the beach every day.

I totally recommend this place for other people and I would definitely go back some day.

What a Simple Distraction Can Lead To

Today I was watching the bowling world cup semifinals between [TSM]TheOddOne and SKMC, it was a very close match until… [TSM]TheOddOne scored a strike, but only because he passed the throwing line by almost 6 yards and the referee didn’t notice because he had dropped his pancakes in his pants.

[TSM]TheOddOne advanced to the finals, but only because of the strike he scored, I think this is unacceptable, a rematch should be done and the retarded referee should be fired and never be able to be a referee again.

I have seen these types of “mistakes” a lot in basketball and football and something has to be done about it.

Trying, and Failing, to Host an Alcohol-Free Party for Teenagers Comment

A Mom Trying To Host an Alcohol, Drugs and Smoking Free Party for Teenagers and Having a Terrible Experience

This article made by a Mom with a 18 year old boy talks about her experience when having a summer end party at her house. She knew that the most part of her son's classmates had marihuana, alcohol and smoked and she didn't approve that at all but she acceded to have a party in her house but no alcohol, drugs, or smoking. She sent facebook invitations that specified NO DRUGS NO ALCOHOL NO SMOKING and she pasted car accidents and black lungs. The day of the party she was happy to not see any drugs, alcohol or people smoking but suddenly the police came and all the 300 boys and girls streamed out of her property and she saw tons of alcohol bottles, wheat and cigars all over the place, the mom couldn't believe it and she almost went to jail. She will never organize another party in her house again.
I think the experience of this mother was the worst, this story shows the addiction of teenagers to alcohol, drugs and smoking and that they seem not to care about the impact that they can have in their lives. The impact of this substances should be repeated more in schools and in the house.

Vending Machines and Alcohol Abuse

Problems with Vending Machines in Schools and Teen Alcohol Abuse, Two of the Biggest Problems in Childhood With Life Long Consequences

Vending machines in schools are a big cause of childhood obesity. Vending machines are often filled with salty or sugary high-fat foods, one bag of potato chips contains the 16% of the recommended daily calories, the unhealthy food sold in vending machines account for many of the health problems from childhood obesity. The junk food provided through many vending machines is linked to such conditions as heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes. Some vending machines are filled with healthy food such as yogurt, fruits, vegetables and milk but that is almost never the case or if the machines are filled with healthy food the healthy food is never bought. In my school we have only one vending machine that sells soft drinks and it’s very used.

Alcohol Abuse

Alcohol is a very abused substance by teens and the number one most abused substance in the United States, a study made by the Columbia University confirms that in the United States under aged drinkers account for 11.4% of the total alcohol consumed in the United States, alcohol abuse can have a lifelong impact on teens.

Consequences of Teen Alcohol Abuse

Teen alcohol problems have many negative consequences like drinking and driving, this problem is the one that has cost more lives of 15 and 20 year old people, teen alcohol abuse also plays a role in other type of injures as well as contributing to higher incidents of unwanted or unplanned sex.

Some studies done by NIAAA (National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism) have shown the following:

Prevalence in 8th graders: (from the US)
  • 51.7% have tried alcohol
  • 43.1% have had an alcoholic drink in the past year
  • 25.1% have been drunk
  • 15.2% have had 1 or more binge drinking episodes

In my school from what I know there is no alcohol abuse.
